Pugsley’s narcissistic review of the Wotofo Bravo RTA

There’s something slightly uncomfortable about anything that lavishes itself with congratulations before it even walks through the door. It’s always been my view that these things are first presented, and if congratulations are called for and deserved….they are given forthwith ….especially if what that thing refers to… is appearance….(you would say that…you have a face like a fat dogs arse)

Bit rude…… these days however, it would seem that ‘conceited’ and ‘vanity’ are words that have been given an upgrade to make them sound cool and perfectly acceptable……I believe this term to be…..(shudders) ….’swagger’…

Regardless……self-adulation, to someone in his mid forties who struggles to even recognise himself in the mirror most mornings…

is something that gets my back up almost instantly, severe scrutinization will ensue….and today….is one of those days….

Pugsley’s twin engined flavourful review of the OBS Crius II Dual Coil RTA

Now I understand this feeling all too well…..I have three children myself, and naming them all was one of the most traumatic and long winded challenges I have ever faced, you have to get it right, I mean….this is going to stick with them for their entire life….and on that basis… it’s a huge responsibility, and no matter how hard I tried to evade that dreaded ‘R’ word…..it was inevitable that one day….it would catch me….

That being said…..

My first is called Kieran, my choice, I just liked the name….and to be fair he’s never complained….but then came the second…..my first choice of ‘Offspring B’ was quickly slapped off the table by my better half….killjoy…and so…the process began……

“What name do you really like?”

“Kieran”

“You have a Kieran…and this is going to be a girl”

“Well you asked me what name I liked…..and I like Kieran”

“You can’t call a girl Kieran….and you can’t have two kids with the same name”

“But again…that’s not the question you asked me…you asked me what name I really liked….and I answered correctly, and may I also take this opportunity to remind you that you have already poo pooed my first choice for our new baby..”

“You can’t call a girl Kieran…..or Offspring B…..and I know what fucking question I asked you, now stop being an utter dick….and help me by thinking of a name for our unborn daughter!……Now what name….do you really like?”

“Kieran”…”NO!”….”Offspring B then”….”NOOOOO!!”………….”Keira then”

“You’re just saying that because it’s almost ‘Kieran’ …you can’t have kids called Kieran and Keira it’s confusing”

“okay…just Kieran then”

“Why am I still with you….”

And so it went…for several days…….and then…Keira it was, which to be fair, I kinda wanted anyway but I just needed to make it by far the better option, yes….I’m absolutely a manipulating, annoying, soul destroying, life sucking, lovable rogue….but then she wouldn’t have it any other way…..(says you)

OBS however……..clearly don’t have a rational ‘better half’ in their life…..my guess…..one middle aged single man, whose soul purpose at OBS, is to come up with names for their products…..and I, for one, can totally relate with this mans struggle…

Ehpro Iguana 20700 Squonk kit review by Mjag…Oh momma, you wanna see this!

I tell ya, sometimes it is right time, right place but that is how I got so lucky to wind up with the Iguana 20700 mech squonk kit from Ehpro. Last day of the ECC show in Ontario, CA and I was walking around with my bud Deuces Jack who luckily for the both of us needed batteries so it took us in that direction. We stop by the Ehpro booth to say goodbye and low and behold they remember us and hand us both there prototype Iguana Squonk kits to review….I just about danced a jig right then and there.

There is not too much info on the Iguana kit but I did get some while emailing with Ehpro. It is not a resin, it is a Acetic acid plate which I have no idea what that means but wow is it sexy. Not sure when production with start or pricing as of yet but as of now they plan on making the Blue seen here and a White version.

Specs as I measured:

Iguana 20700 squonk mod:

  • 25mm x 86mm x 48.5mm
  • 6ml soft silicon squonk bottle
  • 20700 and I would suppose it would come with an 18650 adapter, it works with one I tried
  • Mech mod
  • Button lock switch

Iguana BF RDA:

  • 24.5mm diameter 22mm tall
  • Bottom airflow
  • 2 squonk feeder holes located right under your wicks
  • 810 drip tip with inner o’ring for friction fit goon/kennedy style 810’s
  • 4 post (can install your coils in either direction or do a dual coil stacked)
  • Domed inner top cap

Now let the sexiness begin!!!

Pugsley’s not at all scary review of the Vapecige VTX200 200w Mod

When I was a kid….clowns were funny, you went to see them at a circus, or you hired them for your birthday parties to act like cockwombles and make balloon animals…..it was innocent, harmless fun…..obviously until we kids inevitably turned the balloon animals into massive willies and ran around the house like a bunch of tiny Dirk Digglers…

But now?……Whose fucking idea was it to turn a children’s entertainer into one of the freakiest, most horrific and scariest things on the planet?!…..Not to me obviously….I’m far too mature and steel hardy to be even remotely nervous of these …..these……these things….these are just people I got funny balloons from when I was a kid….and nothing more…..

I’ll be in here with Mr Snuggles if anyone needs me……(shudders)

Pugsley’s broad shouldered and godly review of the Vapecige Creator IM200

Finally…it would appear they may well have run out of Greek mythological deity names for our beloved vape gear….and have instead….. just opted for a ‘cover all basis’ generalisation…..”fuck it!….call it the ‘Creator’ …at least then we won’t upset anyone!” ……it’s a fair point, in a world that’s completely PC crazy and has more Gods than you can shake a shitty stick at, it’s a risky business to name anything after one of them without making the rest of them feeling a little left out…and being the touchy bunch that they apparently are….it really doesn’t take much for one of them to chuck their teddy out of the pram….

So when I take a mod out of the box of ‘things to review that had been pushed to the back of the queue’, and realise it will happily house a 28.5mm Sherman RDA….and then some….

I don’t take any chances….thankfully….thus far, my hypocrisy has not caused a sudden and fatal bolt of lightning to strike me down where I stand….thank the heavens….

Pugsley’s rather dashing review of the Joyetech Espion Kit with Procore X tank

Everyone know what a backlog is?….And I’m not talking about the result of eating too much meat and not enough fibre (Poop humour….really?…at your age?….) …well…I have one, a huge one actually, and I really need to clear that shit (poor choice of words man)….so….no fucking around, straight for the jugular with a series of reviews that will be over in less time that it takes me to make a whole baby….which…if you ask my Mrs…is actually quite impressive….

And for those that are now thinking ..’Thank fuck for that you droning on old fuck weasel’ …you are entirely welcome, I’m all about giving back to the community….in fact it reminds me of that time when I …(shut up….shut up now)

okay….sorry…

Pugsley’s mean green flavour machine review of the Wismec-Jaybo Luxotic BF Kit

I admit right now, don’t judge me, but I do enjoy from time to time..the finer things in life, I work hard for my money, and occasionally I may well pay over the odds for something that is of such a fine quality, that I feel I have earned the right to own it…or eat it….or drink it…or indeed …wear it…..this by no means makes me a snob, I fart in public to the utter disgust of my other half, and can quite often be seen ‘wearing’ a kebab whilst staggering home from the pub like any other bloke at the weekend, but shove a high quality item with an offensive price tag under my nose , and if funds allow, then more often than not…I am defeated…

I am the absolute polar opposite of my better half who, even in her thirties, still shops like a student and then complains when her ‘designer’ top will only fit our 5 year old daughter after it’s first wash or when that 9p tin of ‘own brand’ baked beans tastes like a bowl of runny red bum nuggets……. that I have to pretend to enjoy…

Blame my mother, it’s almost comical that everytime my Mrs is out for the day, she lets me know in her own special way….that it is indeed time for an impromptu…and secret food shop at Waitrose…

The apple it would appear….did not fall too far from the tree.

So….what happens …..when I am presented with a beautifully crafted item of the highest quality, an item that would normally have me checking my bank balance within mere seconds of clapping my materialistic and all too gullible peepers upon its luxurious appearance ……yet possesses a price tag that would suggest my Mrs bought it from Danny ‘discount deals’ McDodgybastard down the pub……..well……..conflicting bewilderment and pessimistic suspicions of almost ‘clown car’ durability is what …..I mean it has to be like that?…..Doesn’t it…??

iStick Pico 21700

I know there are a lot of fans of the iStick Pico mods and all the variations over the years. Can’t say I was one of them although I did own the 26650 version briefly before a friend of mine just had to have it. This is my first time using one over a month and although it didn’t wow me it also never let me down.

The thought of reviewing a 21700 mod did intrigue me, at the time I did not have any 21700 capable mods and included in this kit was a Avatar Controls 30A 4000mAh 21700 battery. The battery has been tested by Mooch, the name to know when it comes to batteries. He gave it a 20A 3900mah rating, using my Hohmbase charger in Battery Doctor mode I measured 4186mah but I would stick with Mooch’s ratings. There are better 21700 batteries out there, the Golisi S35 comes to mind which Mooch tested to be 30A and 3700 mah, less life but better if you vape at higher watts. 21700’s are still in there infancy though, better options are likely to be more plentiful in the future. If using with the included ELLO tank which works best under 60 watts the included 21700 will be fine though.

Eleaf does include a 18650 adapter, worked fine for me.
