Welcome aboard the Steampugs train!…..ALL ABOOOOARD…(chuggachuggachugga)

Steampugs Vapeology Reviews – A….shall we say… ‘lighthearted’ approach to reviewing the world of Vapeology.

Once aboard, sit back, and take in the sights and soun….oh no wait there’s no sounds….and to be honest the sights are more often than not quite…quite mad so….maybe it’s best you just sit back and read the meandering mumbling’s of a madman with an obsession for inhaling desserts.

Pugsley’s mind over Manta review of the Advken Manta RTA

As per usual when researching a little bit of background info on the manufacturer I am reviewing for I have come away no wiser than when I started….confusion….it would appear…is big business in China….

I’ve never reviewed anything by Advken before and I’ll admit right now…I couldn’t of named one single device from their back catalogue ….I know I know….you vape geeks out there will be all like ‘ACTUALLY I think you will find the Advken were the people behind the blah blah and the blah blah how could you not even know that you uncultured peasant’ ….wotevs…regardless…my brief research threw up a few surprises for me….and like I said…more than a little confusion surrounding one particular iconic RDA….The Kennedy. They currently sell the Kennedy V2…which led me to the obvious train of thought of ‘Oh ..no way..Advken are behind the Kennedy….oh wait…no that was Kennedy Enterprises….oh actually…it appears to be Kennedy Vapor…..’

Who the fuck knows…all I know is…..Advken are selling the V2…..Which puts pay to my ‘Advken….the people behind the Kennedy’ speech….So there’s that..(sigh)…..And also something you might recognise from your Fasttech searches of yesteryear….albeit not quite so equally Iconic…..

The Coffin shaped ‘Vampire box’ mech mod……also Advken…..

Did I forget something?……….

Ooooooh yes of course…..There’s also the ‘flip top’ Mad Hatter RDA ….how could I possibly forget…

So Advken do have a pretty solid resume spanning back a number of years….you’d think they might have at least sorted themselves out with a decent website…..but alas….It is shit…..Their gear however…..not so much…

Getting it up for the Aura RDA

My fine friends at efun.top asked if I was up to do a review and was kind enough to send me the Aura RDA

I really enjoyed the first review I attempted. But there was a period of courtship before that review. I had followed…stalked…flirted with…whatevs, the person I was reviewing for. Lots of messages were passed back and forth. Let’s call it foreplay. So when I got the product I was excited, thrilled, I was ready to fully…erect the review.
But when asked to do another review I questioned if I could get it up again. Is the time right for me to talk to my doctor about Cialis?

Norseman’s Review on the Spanner from Vape Mechanic. Have your own Russian Hit Squad.

I received this Mech Mod free of charge directly from the manufacturer Vape Mechanic for the purpose of this review. Regardless of this, it will not color my opinion on this review in any way, shape or form.

I received two Spanner Mech Mods, one black with the spanner engravings and one brass without any engravings and I must say that I like how they both look.

Pugsley’s Arty farty review of the Asvape Michael VO200 Mod

I’m going to take you back….wayy back….too far back for most of you no doubt….The early 70s to be exact, This was a time before video games, before computers…A time when 3 TV channels was enough and even that…for most of us…was black & white. Entertainment in those days was incomparable to today’s standards….we played outside, we got dirty, we pretended to kill each other on a daily basis with twigs shaped like guns and on a good day…whispers of ‘there’s a dead body down the alley’ were all the excitement we needed….come to think of it….finding corpses was an alarmingly recurrent pastime for us kids….. hmm….it’s literally just occurred to me how fucking disturbing that is…..and also the possibility that one of my friends….could well of been a mass murderer….?

Moving on swiftly…..

It was during this golden era that my infatuation with Art came to being, My Playstation was a pad of paper, My controller was a ‘love is’ pencil case covered in obscene graffiti (my perverse older sisters) full of crayons and the game….was whatever my imagination could come up with…..cute pictures of puppies probs….

throughout my childhood I would lose myself for hours scribbling away in my own little bubble, Pulling images from my ever expanding imagination and putting them to paper…..My first ever Art teacher was so impressed with my talents that she felt impelled to show my parents what an ‘Interesting’ creative flair their little golden child…appeared to possess..

This was a prominent feature throughout my childhood, I was obsessed with all things ‘Arty’ and still am to this day, Although my talents these days tend to be used more just entertaining myself more than anything else…

As for appreciating Art however….the more imaginative and ‘away from the norm’ the better….So it came as no surprise that the moment I clapped eyes on the device I am reviewing today…I felt the same reaction that I felt the first time I saw my bosomy Art teacher all those years ago….I fell in love….

Woftam’s review of the HellVape Dead Rabbit – Tell Me About the Rabbits George

 This Is What I Think

They’re dead Lenny now STFU.

Well the Dead Rabbit box in an interesting colour choice a drab green but do we care about it nope – I personally couldn’t care if it came wrapped in in an old sock as long as it protects the contents during shipping which this one did.

What’s in the box:
Well the rda of course, a goodie bag with some spare o rings a couple of hex keys, spare grub screws, a bf pin, a 510 adaptor, a 810 drip tip – pretty much you standard set of bits.

First Impressions:

Dead Rabbit – interesting name but hey we all see some crazy names for vape gear but this one is truly original like the deck. I have to say the innovation in decks is evolving quickly as of late and the Dead Rabbit has a unique deck. I’m not even sure what you would call it, it is a postless deck but raised so I am gunna just call it a pedestal postless deck (totally awesome name if you ask me).

The unit is really well machined, nice tight O rings, super clean on arrival, the engraving is nice and crisp and clean. It also comes with some good bits and pieces including a resin drip tip. The air holes are high on the sides which they need to be due to the pedestal postless deck (patent pending) they are fairly big and slant down to hit directly on the coil/coils (there are 3 in the cap for single or dual coil set ups). I wouldn’t describe it as an airy rda it flows a little less wide open than an original goon does (if that helps you at all).

I love a postless deck I just find them a breeze to build on the only draw back is cutting the coil legs to the right length but because this deck is on a pedestal and the coils holes go all the way through it is super easy to put the coils in with slightly longer legs and just trim the excess off – a really nice touch (it is the little things that make toppers stand out from the crowd).

Please excuse my pic I cant find my macro lens so I just had to make do (TBH I don’t ever lose things my wife just puts them away in a random spot that makes no sense at all so I will probably find it in the freezer or something).
